LIBA USA OPEN NETWORK
The Liberian Business Association of the Americas Open Source Governance business model is designed to promote openness, stimulate networking and transparently integrate Member-Driven Innovation. LIBA operation is coordinated by an administrative structure whose mission is to guarantee LIBA independence, openness and to manage the day-to-day affairs of the organization.

Under the governance team umbrella, there is a Board of Directors (5-9), an Executive Committee (5 members) and a Board of Advisors.

To achieve its goals, LIBA combines the voluntary activities of its members and leaders with the professional work of its staff.  Each member’s voice is magnified by this cooperative effort. 

LIBA GOVERNANCE:
A 5-Member Board of Directors. The board of directors establishes policies, priorities, and working agendas. These directors and Officers are active entrepreneur executives who represent their various businesses throughout the country.

LIBA staff is a small, highly qualified team of professionals. The staff implements the Board of director’s action plans and represents the interests of the organization members at all times. In addition, the staff provides members with a broad range of networking, educational, and consulting services and products. 

CODE OF ETHICS & TRADE PRACTICE RULES
The promotion and maintenance of the highest standards of conduct have been a major component of the association objectives. Its members are required to subscribe to its Code of Ethics and Trade Practice Rules. By administering those standards diligently, the organization contributes immeasurably to the integrity and reputation of the industry.

LIBA’s Code of Ethics has been established by members to help create a safe environment where business professionals can focus on helping each other reach their goals.

Upon acceptance to LIBA, I agree to abide by the following Code of Ethics during the tenure of my participation in the organization.
